As the description on the right says, these are not going to be your grandma's makeup tutorial tips. Or maybe they will be, as I like retro style. But I digress. What I mean is, I'm not here to show you how to do the same boring old smoky eye look or to tell you that color is sooooo in this season but that you should only apply it ever so lightly across your lids so no one even notices you wearing anything with color. No, I'm making this blog to give tutorials on various looks that I've done over the years as well as looks you may see in the media. Yes, I will cover some that are basic, but I will also cover some of the unconventional ones that you can only pull off with confidence, as well as originals that I've come up with on my own.
I was inspired to make this blog after looking at one too many makeup columns in magazines and blogs where the idea of wearing color seemed to be nonexistent, or nearly every look consisted of pale lipgloss and shades of browns for the eyes and bronzer, or the idea of having "unique" nails was to just wear a bright color, compared to having a cute pattern.
I may not stick to only makeup either, as I really love all aspects of beauty and sharing what tips, tricks, and knowledge I may have about them.
So look forward to tutorials and reviews, as I have a lot planned for the upcoming months! :D
